Roof Insulation for Community Space at EKO Project

December 10, 2016

We managed to lend a hand to EKO Project before we flew home for Christmas by retrofitting an existing metal roof with insulated panels. These panels have two aims, to help retain some heat within the building but also to dampen the noise the rain creates when it hammers down (previously making teaching during these times very difficult).

This was a quick but effective job that should hopefully make the room much more usable in the future and adds to the amazing set of spaces EKO Project have already created to service the residents of Vasilika Refugee Camp.  We'd like to say a huge thank you to Mohammad Abu Marasa from Palestine who helped us throughout this build and EKO Project for their support!
