Today we completed our first transportable shower modules to be delivered to Horgos refugee camp, in collaboration with Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
Currently there are no showers or wash facilities in Horgos. Our shower units will provide people the opportunity to wash in privacy for the first time in weeks, thereby restoring some dignity to their lives.
Our designs include separate male and female double shower units and a male / female disabled unit.
We have minimised wastage by using the timber off-cuts to make tables for two hand washing stations provided by MSF.
