Moving Forward

August 20, 2016

Having completed our two projects in Serbia - shower units for Horgos Refugee Camp and a learning centre and shaded communal area for Kelebija - we have made the difficult decision to leave Serbia and return to Greece.

The inflexibility of the political situation and the lack of any authorisation to build means our usefulness in Serbia has unfortunately come to an end for now. Considering the complete lack of any facilities or infrastructure in the camps when we arrived, we hope that what we have managed to build will make a real difference to the people who remain stranded there.

We are relocating to Thessaloniki in the north of Greece where there are currently thousands of refugees living in the various local camps. Without being as restricted by the authorities we are excited to continue our work, this time on a larger scale than ever before.

We are grateful to Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and I'm Human Organization iHo for their collaboration during these projects.

Thank YOU all for your support and donations - without you these projects would not have been possible. If you would like to help us to continue with these valuable projects, you can do so here:
